What to expect for those attending

    Primary school years 3, 4, 5 & 6

    Secondary school years 7, 8 & 9

    Secondary school years 10 & 11

    Sixth form, College and University students

    Grouping:

    Prior to the event you will receive an email from the YFYA team with details of your registered student group allocation. This allocation will remain throughout the day. It is important you have this information to hand upon arrival so the group can be easily identified by the allocated YFYA chaperones. The Chaperones will be assigned to the group for the entire duration of their visit. Student groups will be a maximum of 12 students, all of similar school year/age. Teachers are required to stay with your students throughout the day. If additional teachers/staff will be joining your group on the day please inform the YFYA team by providing full names in the comments box within the registration form.

    Schedule:

    All student groups will follow a pre-planned YFYA schedule of activities throughout the day. This will include interactive 30min activities held within designated areas and also on the main exhibition floor where company stands and demonstrations will take place.

    Timings:

    The YFYA 2021 event will be held online only. All scheduled sessions will commence at 10am, please check your email for notifications on your group and timetable.

    When YFYA returns onsite: All scheduled sessions will commence promptly at 10am and will close at 3pm. The exhibition floor will remain open until 4:30pm for those that would like to continue discussions. We encourage you to arrive at the stadium for 9:30am to allow for the 30 minute arrival registration to take place.

    Regular breaks are scheduled throughout the day, and will also include a 30 minute lunch break* to be held within an allocated area within the Stadium. Note, there are no facilities to buy food within the Emirates so packed lunches will be required.

    * Please refrain from taking your students off site during this time.

    Feedback:

    We welcome student feedback on the YFYA experience, and will be providing feedback forms to be completed. Please ensure your group return all feedback forms to the main reception

    If you are an individual College or University student, once you have registered you will receive an email from the YFYA team outlining the schedule of sessions that will be run throughout the day.

    All sessions will be run by top industry leaders, who will provide helpful guidance and insight on how to gain and improve upon crucial interview techniques and workplace skills- these sessions will be highly attended to please ensure you register in good time.

    Session registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
